The Lieberman Bashing Must Change Course

I have grown increasingly frustrated with the continued bashing of Joe Lieberman. My problem is not that he's being bashed, but the form in which he's being bashed.
You see, I happen to share the same last name as the Senator from Connecticut. I am a Lieberman. There are many more Liebermans out there in this country. And I find it extremely offensive and hurtful to browse this site and be inundated with the word "LIEberman", "Lie-berman", and other variations, all having to do with the fact that the first three letters of his last name happen to be the same three letters that make up the word that means to tell an untruth. Well I've had enough. I'm sick and tired of this. Because I'm proud that my last name is Lieberman. I'm proud of my father, my grandfather, and everyone else all up the family tree. And when people attack Senator Lieberman's last name, as opposed to attacking him on the issues or through some other way, it's an attack on me, my family, and everything I stand for.
One of my fundamental principles in life is to tell the truth. That's one of my father's bedrock principles as well. So I would ask everyone on Daily Kos, a community I hold dear to my heart, please, refrain from saying "LIEberman", "Lie-berman", or any other variation on that, the sole purpose of which is to make the point that Joe Lieberman is a liar. Because it is incredibly insulting to me, and I love you guys. And come on, we're a creative bunch. Surely we can come up with a better way of attacking the turncoat senator from Connecticut! Thanks everybody.
